The Kwa Ground Shuleni project by New Beginnings Kwa Ground addresses substance abuse and mental health issues among Kenyan youth through prevention, education, and support. By using evidence-based strategies in interactive sessions and workshops, the project empowers students to make informed decisions and reach their full potential.

We work to destigmatize mental health issues by providing education and coping strategies for stress and anxiety. Our programs offer counseling and mentorship to support individuals' mental well-being.
Our team conducts ongoing research to create evidence-based prevention strategies tailored to our community's needs. We advocate for policy changes to support mental health and substance abuse prevention, ensuring effective and scalable programs.
We have impacted over 3000 students with the substance abuse prevention program and mental health interventions, as well as supported 56 individuals on their recovery journey.
