New Beginnings Kwa Ground is an organization, founded in 2020 with aim of Drug &
Substance Abuse prevention and Mental Health awareness among young people. It is a community-wide initiative that combines education, activities, resources and support, prevention, and capacity building to empower youth to live better lives. We are ardent believers that the youth have huge potential, and with the right mentorship, support, and guidance, they are a force to be reckoned with.

We guide parents, guardians and school administration on how to approach the drug topic and create awareness on the drugs and substances abused, as well as how they can help their young ones who are already abusing drugs. New Beginnings Kwa Ground incorporates mental health awareness programs that are vital in ensuring the wellness of young people.

VISION
To create an environment where young people and the community at large can be empowered on matters pertaining to drug and substance abuse, its prevention and the importance of mental health.

MISSION
To build an alliance that engages the community to create conditions towards the prevention and reduction of substance abuse by youth. Bring together many voices so our youth can build healthy, safe and successful lives free of substance abuse and mental wellbeing.

OBJECTIVES
1. To conduct High school programmes aimed at educating and preventing drug and
substance abuse.
2. To provide drug sensitization programs to individuals and community at large.
3. To Perform community outreach programmes
4. To provide Counseling services
5. To Provide vocational, business and life skills to recovering addicts to empower them to take charge of their lives
